This is our cat, Jonah.
We’ve had him for about five years. Before BE and BC began visiting with us a couple of years ago, we hardly ever had kids over. Jonah was very friendly with all of our guests. He wasn’t the type of cat to run away from strangers. He wanted to be around everyone and to see what was going on. I assumed he would be just the same with kids. I was completely wrong. I can’t remember who started it now – if it was Jonah hissing at the kids, or the kids pulling Jonah’s tail. Either way, it was clear that they did not like each other. It’s improved over the past couple years, now they simply tolerate each other. Somehow, I doubt that they will ever really like each other though. But, I can still hope, right?
