Needless to say, when the kids first started visiting with us, we had almost no toys. Before one of their first visits, J and I went to the store and bought a few things for them. One of them was this teddy bear:
We gave it to BE and to this day it is one of her favorite toys. She sleeps with it almost every night and named it “Teddy.” There have been a few times that she’s asked me where she got it. I remind her that J and I gave it to her and I think she really doesn’t remember getting it from us. But, I’m happy to see that it’s special to her, even if she doesn’t really know why.
