I’m a child of the 80s, and there are many toys I enjoyed back then, that my children can still enjoy today. My Little Pony, Transformers, Cabbage Patch dolls, and Strawberry Shortcake have all been revived, and BE is a big fan of many of them. Now, thanks to Grandma G, BE and BC have become fans of an 80s television show that has not been resurrected and has largely been forgotten.
A while back, Grandma G broke out an audio recording and an accompanying book featuring “The Get Along Gang.” My kids have listened to the original cassette tape that Aunt LM I listened to probably 25 years ago! Grandma G also bought BE and BC a DVD featuring at least 10 episodes of “The Get Along Gang.”
Aunt LM and I enjoyed the show and books, and even had the stuffed animals. Does anyone else remember “The Get Along Gang”? What are some of your other long-forgotten 80s icons?
